What does %SPO2 mean?
%SPO2 is the oxygen saturation. For normal healthy adults, the average SPO2 should be 95%-100%. If you have medical questions, consult your medical doctor.
What does PRbpm mean? What is a normal PR reading?
PRbpm is your Pulse Rate in beats per minute. For normal healthy adults, the PR range should be anywhere from 60-100 bpm. If you have medical questions, consult your medical doctor.
How do I use the oximeter?
Power on the oximeter. Make sure your fingers are warm and dry. Place finger in the unit. After approximately 10-15 seconds a reading should be given. For the first 5-10 seconds, the numbers will change, and an average is taken. When the SPO2 stabilizes, you may use the pulse rate reading that shows.
The PRbpm will not stop going up and down, how do I get it to stop?
The pulse rate number will not stop, since your finger is in the oximeter, the light is shining through, and there is blood flow to the fingertip. When the SPO2 stabilizes, you may use the reading for the pulse rate at this time.
What is the range and the accuracy of PRbpm/SPO2 measurements?
Please refer to the “Technical Specifications” section of the Operator’s Manual.
The meter powers off when opening the unit to place my finger inside. What do I do?

How do I change the mode from pedometer to oximeter?
Turn the unit on. Press the power button 3 times. Then PRESS & HOLD the power button until the screen changes to “Finger Out”. You are now in oximeter mode.
How do I keep the oximeter in this mode? I do not want it for pedometer.
Pressing the power button while the unit is on, and in oximeter mode, will change to pedometer. If you take your finger out, and let the unit power off, it will shut off in oximeter mode. The device will power on in whichever mode it shuts off in.
How is the pedometer operated?
Hold down the power button while the PLAY button has a square around it. There should be a small arrow next to the word Step. To pause the pedometer, press the power button and the square will move to the next symbol, which is a PAUSE button. Hold down the power button until a PAUSE button appears next to the word STEP. Moving the square to the “R” symbol resets the steps/calories. Moving the square to the last symbol, the back arrow, will change the mode to oximeter.
When I turn the oximeter on and place my finger in the unit, a line is moving up and down but I cannot get a reading and then it shuts off.
If the pulse bar is showing movement, the oximeter is attempting to get a reading. Take finger out of the unit, rub together for approx. 30 seconds and place back in the unit.
What does Error-3, Error-4, Error-7 mean?
The error message means that your product may have a technical malfunction. If the limited 2 year warranty is still in effect, please call the warranty line (215-874-0458). If not under warranty, a new unit would need to be purchased.
Why does the oximeter say “Finger Out” when my finger is in the unit?
Take finger out of the unit, rub together for approx. 30 seconds and place back in the unit. If there is not enough blood flow to the fingertip, the light that shines through will have a harder time giving a reading. Creating warmth creates more blood flow.
